PlatonicNymph Posted April 20 Report Posted April 20 (edited) (April 21st 2026- reuploaded the files w/ simpler names to fix a WorldEdit import error SO SORRY YA'LL) Also posted on Reddit. Heya'll! I called in sick (got a rough 'lil cold) and spent the past several days hyperfixating on this almost nonstop (w/ breaks to prevent burnout). 48 blocks of high-rez chiseling, an 8x8x4 seraph of my OC Agave offering a sword to the viewer (my first "finished" 3D statue!!!) If not for the critique and inspiration from other artists (plus ya'll's lovely mega-encouraging feedback on my last project!)- this wouldn't have existed (at least- not nearly w/ the same quality), so be sure to check out u/Karate_Carrot's Woman in a Toga with a Falx + thanks to Specter and Bonkie on Discord for the early critique (my legs were, initially, way too short... among other embarrassing disproportions.) Praise the Lord above all- as He's ultimately the source of all good things. As usual, I've attached the files both for World Edit and QP Chisel Tools. The latter has the 48 blocks named using the schema in the image above- "YXZ". Survival-friendly materials list! Debarked Oak Log (skin) Redwood Quarter Logs (hair) Quartz Glass (wings) Chalk Rock (fabric) Shale Rock (blade) Basalt Rock (hilt) Sandstone Rock (cross) If you decide to build this in creative- I'd recommend replacing her fabric or wings w/ meteoric iron, plus steel for the blade (shiny!) Terra preta was originally going to serve for her hair, but you can't chisel it by default in survival- so it led me to eventually falling in love w/ the redwood instead. You should use the QP Chisel Tools paintbrush to quickly change any specific materials! But be warned- there are quite a few chiseled blocks which are only a few voxels in size- primarily in her wings but also her elbows lol. Feel free to add this statue to your world and swap out materials, but please do not massively edit or rename anything without asking here first. EnbyKaiju Posted April 21 Report Posted April 21 This is an absolutely stunning build and I hope you feel truly proud of what you've created here Organics are hard to design well in voxel games at the best of times, and you've really made something special. Thank you for sharing it with us 1

Thank you for sharing it with us AAAAAAAA- yes, I am! Tysm!!! This project polished my understanding of edges/flats- how relative shapes and continuous surfaces matter moreso in detailed voxel art versus overall total precision... definitely a masterpiece of sorts for me, and I'm ecstatic to share it here with ya'll- for everyone's enjoyment. Hope it inspires well! *To put it in a simple phrase- the breakthrough I've had: Focus on your corners/edges more than the actual voxels themselves. PlatonicNymph Posted April 21 Author Report Posted April 21 (edited) HEYA'LL apparently the apostraphe(?) in the original filenames made WorldEdit throw an error message- I've fixed it, sorry for the trouble if you downloaded already. o7 Edited April 21 by PlatonicNymph correction: not brackets/spaces
Farmore Posted Friday at 10:07 PM Report Posted Friday at 10:07 PM Holy crap. I'm genuinely so amazed. The wings are gorgeous, I have no idea how you even managed to keep track of all this. Talk about an impressive megabuild. The scenery also really adds to it. Great work. 1

THANK YOU :'D your feedback genuinely made my evening! You can sorta tell from the WIP copies- but the wings were originally sketched out as lower-resolution in opaque marble, which helped a ton! Still, with art like this, it always seems impossible at first, until ya keep deciding to try anyways. And the scene came from my second world- which felt so pretty and relaxing, that I decided to retire it early on rather than spoil the scenery with any civilization. Felt befitting that it should still get appreciated alongside my art projects! 1
