thegamehugger Posted Sunday at 03:47 PM Report Posted Sunday at 03:47 PM Hello hello guys and gals and my enby pals, its your local madman raving again! So I spooled up a new world to enjoy the whimsy of 1.22 (as of this post I am on 1.22.2 stable), and shortly into my adventure I found the crude bow could be made by my mere commoner hands. Of course I am met with as much confusion as joy at (FINALLY) an early option for ranged hunting available to all, but I don't see anything in the patch notes about the crude bow no longer requiring the Bowyer trait. So, I spooled up a new new world to double check the hunter and yep, clicking the "exclusive bows and arrows" part shows in the search bar of the handbook everything you expect, including the crude bow. The thing is the Recurve Bow and Crude Arrows are still under the Bowyer trait, so I was wondering if this was intended to give players an early ranged option across the board without making it too easy as you'd still have to craft regular arrows or if this just a mistake and my clumsy commoner hands can't tie a rope that she made around a stick to make a bow-like object.
Lithembia Posted Sunday at 04:38 PM Report Posted Sunday at 04:38 PM Crude bow was available in 1.20, just longbow and recurve bow were not.
