Krougal Posted July 10 Report Posted July 10 I think it's a fair compromise to the AI hysteria of a very vocal minority that seems to be spreading all over the interwebs. Maybe Frank was a prophet and the Butlerian Jihad will come to pass. My mods are written by myself, but I use AI assistants to automate all sorts of boring repetitive tasks. Feel free to boycott. Not that I have a lot of published mods and none of them are big or revolutionary by any means. I write mods for myself. I share them because if even 1 other person finds them useful, then it was worth publishing. I really don't care about anything else. By all means, preserve peoples rights to be idiots if they choose to be. 2 1

Awful condescending of you to ignore major practical, ethical, and legal issues surrounding the tech and to just blanket everyone with any amount of concern about the tech as "idiots." People are going to disagree and as long as things don't escalate, I don't see that the conversation should just be shut down.
