Loosebearings Posted June 21 Report Posted June 21 Is there a command to make days longer? I'd like to make them 72 minutes long, so one in game hour is 3 minutes instead of 2. Would this mess up an existing world and will hunger automatically be adjusted or will I have to change hunger manually?
Solution Nathan Flaminio Posted June 21 Solution Report Posted June 21 /time calendarspeedmul [.5] is the normal flow of time in the game. I set mine to .125 for longer days, but that's a drastic change. Try .45 if you just want it a little longer (I'm just about to go to sleep, so my brain does not want to math to get the exact number) It will not mess up your world. I can't speak to hunger because I don't play in normal time. It will make some things go slower, like how long it takes for an ingot to cool down, but other things are unaffected (heating in a crucible). I have macros set to go back and forth between .125 and 2 (I think). 1
Rainbow Fresh Posted June 21 Report Posted June 21 As Nathan said, using /time calendarspeedmul [x] is the easiest and safest way to go. It literally just slows down the progression of time in the game, meaning all relative time-based operations are scaled accordingly. As it makes the days itself longer, all day-based operations like crop growth, food spoilage and such is extended in tandem. Hunger rate is also slowed down as it is based on in-world time progression. Because it just adjusts timeflow, your calendar date will stay intact. The default setting is 0.5 Meaning in order do go from 2 minutes per hour to 3 minutes per hour, you'd need to set it to 0.33/0.34 (rounded) if I'm not mistaken. 1
