anyone know why my berry bushes lost their traits after fully maturing?

i had a bunch of berry bushes with +15% yield and after they fully matured they lost the trait. in the pictures you see the strawberry runner that still has the trait which was a cutting from the mature bush that now doesnt have the trait. can anyone explain this to me? most of the bushes i had have lost traits...

Are you playing with any mods? It's possible that a mod could be interfering with the process somehow. 

If vanilla, I'd check your game version. If it's 1.22.4/5, then it's likely a bug.

this is on the the official public server so all vanilla, i updated to 1.22.5 before starting today though

Happened to me as well. 6 different fruit bushes lining the walls by my front door, all lost their traits. All had the +15% and some had other positive traits too (my strawberry had 3 positive and no negative). 

I have not updated yet, still on 1.22.3

This is quite common bug. Try changing place where you keep your berry bushes. It seems the bug only appears in some chunks so moving your berries  about 100 blocks might help.

Hey, same thing happened to me, my current theory is that it's due to the fact that they were not fully matured prior to winter, tests will need to be run however.
