Jojobinks Posted August 1 Report Posted August 1 I have undertaken the task of making a sailboat and the time to get all the linen is now. I recently found a commodities trader who sells linen squares but they are in diamond weave pattern not the normal stitches that I have made already. I know all the wood type for the boat must be the same. Are they interchangeable for the boat recipe or have I just wasted my gears?
Rainbow Fresh Posted August 1 Report Posted August 1 I haven't actualyl tested this, but most other recipes can take either pattern; so I'd assume you can use either for the boat as long as you got all 21 of one type.

Demoncyborg Posted August 1 Report Posted August 1 tested it and yeap, works completely fine with diamond stitch and others if for whatever reason you need to convert them without being a tailor, if you use any stitch as a cheese cloth it'll revert it to normal stitching
Jojobinks Posted August 2 Author Report Posted August 2 Also I found you can shear any stitching in the crafting menu and it will turn into normal stitching. 2
