maculator Posted August 13 Report Posted August 13 Pick up a stone and throw it at another stone on the ground (must be a naturally generated one). This leaves stone bits on the ground. Shift ricktclick the bits with your empty hand and it tells you if there are surface ore bits in a radius X arround you.
LadyWYT Posted August 13 Report Posted August 13 Welcome to the game and forums! I'm not really sure how this fits into the game. It has no basis in realistic process, to my knowledge, and finding surface ore is as simple as just having a look around. 2
SnapJelly Posted August 14 Report Posted August 14 I agree with LadyWYT on this one, I'm not sure how smacking 2 rocks together would tell you anything that just looking at the rock wouldn't Technically you already smack the rocks together when you knap them so, that would in this scenario tell you pretty much the same thing about the surrounding stone
