That said, I think its reasonable to say at least for this game having done all the story missions in the end game.

Agreed, I think Vintage Story already has at least something resembling an end-game, that's when you've got efficient steelmaking and have your tools maxed out in my opinion; however, I've only ever reached that point a few times. Story content also is a good end-game marker, once you've beaten all the current story-content you'd not really need to do more than play at your leisure or continuously expand/build till satisfied. To me that's not really a worry but I also find myself enjoying Vintage Story more for its early-game than its late-game, homesteading is fun but gets tedious in a singleplayer world (maybe less for other people but you'd need to make your own fun at a certain point) whereas early-game forces you to move around and work to survive which I feel is a strong pull for the game 1
