I'll throw bread bowls and trenchers into the mix. Would be a very fun, convenient way to eat a meal and not need to worry about the dishes after. Probably won't happen though.

I'm definitely pro-sandwich though. And not just because I play Blackguard. It's a pretty simple food and not exactly going to shatter anyone's suspension of disbelief.

Technically we already have pizza in the game. Just stuff meat and cheese(if this combo isn't legal it should be) into a pie shell and don't bother with the top crust. Now you have Chicago-style deep dish pizza.
