When rivers are added I would love to be able to zoom around the world on ice skates using the frozen rivers as roads. Or maybe to just move around on lakes faster while I'm ice fishing. I imagine you would need leather for the "shoes" and then smith the skate blades out of iron or something. If anyone makes a mod for this (or if one already exists and I just couldn't find it) please let me know!

Shoes with enough grip to keep you from slipping on the ice so much could be an interesting addition too. I know it's kind of the opposite of ice skates but it would also be a fun and useful thing in the game as well!

2 Knife blades, 2 leather, 2 linen fiber, that's what I would use.

i think it should be more expensive than that leather-wise, looking at the other recipes for boots they use at least 8-12 leather

something like this, just with the two knife blades. ooooough....

I'm not an ice skater, but I imagine the movement could have the similiar speed bursting pattern like swimming. But also think when rivers are updated into a more viable travel option and they freeze, you can still blaze through terrain. And then the ice breaks and you fall into freezing water.
