What burns hotter than charcoal?

I'm trying to make glass and it requires (if memory serves me) 1350°f  Charcoal only goes up to 1300°f is there another fuel that burns hotter than charcoal or do I need to do something special to make glass?

You need a bloomery and charcoal. The same if you want to turn iron meteorite pieces into iron ingots.

You just need a bloomery and any of the 3 fuels it will burn - charcoal, black coal, and anthracite.  The bloomery does not play by normal temperature rules.  it just turns the stuff (iron nuggets, quartz) into the thing (iron bloom, glass).
