Sukotto82
I got impatient and started working on several different things all in one pass for my mod and something I did keeps crashing the game so I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it but some of my modded content was still in the freshly reinstalled game but not all of the modded stuff just a few things. How does this happen?
l33tmaan
If I had to guess, the uninstall removed all the base game content and not the stuff you added in. This is why you don't go throwing files into your assets folder all willy-nilly. That's how you accidentally break your game. Keep your mods as separate as possible from everything else. Streetwind
Vintage Story can store mods in a few different places. One of them is in %appdata%\VintagestoryData. This folder will be used by all installs of VS on the same system, unless you specifically tell them not to. Therefore, when uninstalling, make sure that you check this folder for leftover stuff.
