New player questions about world map

I just got this game after following it for numerous years. In all the videos I seen except those who have world map and ability to mark way points for new locations off I always see map. In the version I downloaded I see the coordinates but no world map and I am bit confused why this and how to set up way points. I am in creative right now, so its not setting issue.

Can someone help me?

Press M. Click on it to set waypoints.

If you used the Wilderness Survival game preset, the world map may simply be turned off. It's one of the advanced difficulty options for people who like a challenge. Pressing M will do nothing in that case.

If the map is available to you, then you can also press F6 to toggle a minimap on and off.

Thanks for advise and help. I am not sure if me or the shortcuts just not working I will try again. I am on creative and my settings are easy, map on.

If you mean the minimap, it is off by default. Press F6.

hey guys! cat sat his fat head on my keyboard and made my minimap rest in a different location. googling "button that changes location of minimap vintage story" doesnt help me. does anyone know the bbutton cat might have pressed? **edit** it ended up being something like Ctrl +F6 or Alt+F6 that caused my issue. and pressing it again fixed my issue.
