Robots that do simple chores for you

I think it would be cool to add robots that can do tasks that only other players can accomplish normally, as a form of automation for some tasks and would be a late game machine. These robots will need to require some form of power, either a mechanical charging station or powered by a fuel source. The robots would be found rarely in underground ruins, where you would need to repair them with rusty gears or late game items.

The robots could be programmable with simple commands that can be looped, these commands include walking commands, pick up/place/break commands, and task commands. There would also be commands to complete if a specific event were to happen (these events being: an animal/block in front of robot, robot charge left, certain item received, task finished, etc). The robots probably would only be able to do simple commands, and not complex tasks like forging and clay forming. The robots have a hand slot and some storage slots, hand slot is for tools or anything else to use, while the storage slots are just for storing collected items.  (I'm too lazy to make my own image, so here's a random image from the web)Robot_01_Waving_Square.jpgAD4F0CCD-0057-4853-A6B9-761FD9A4CBE5Zoom.jpg

This could be cool because there can be robots patrolling a house, doing gardening, and completing chores without the player needing to do nearly as much work. I'm not totally sure about the details, so there might be something I missed or some better idea of how a mechanic could work. Anyway these are just my thoughts on this, hope you guys find it a decent idea.

First of all facts are that devs want steam to be the most advanced technologi so at not robots but more likely automata/automatons so purely mechanical creations clockwork even.

Second since we have temporal "energii" in game it wouldnt surprise me if it could be used to either transfer mechanical power remotely or store hugo amounts of it, for example we could link two temporal gears giving us a pair of resonating gears (kinda like quantum resonance) that when one turns the other does the same regardles of distance.

I would point people to Lovecraft's fiction.  While there is technology and science, it isn't of the sci-fi variety.  It is more along the lines of him incorporating the science of his day (turn of the 20th century) into stories in which extra-dimensional beings and events happen.  Vintage Story, to date, is very faithful to that idiom where the characters use science and technology to solve problems created by the extra-dimensional being or event.
