  1. I really love the belt idea. More bag space is always great. We could also have like a tool belt which could hold a number of tools on it (2-4 maybe?) also maybe a quiver to hold arrows.
  2. Im not 100% but might that thing be a low hanging cloud just passing through or is it actually such a dense fog?
  3. From what i understand @solisamor meant he fed the pigs - they ate but didnt get the portions eaten registered. If this is true im wondering are you using any mods?
  4. Yeah i learnt that the hard way too Trapped some pigs in a hole while exporing but didnt notice a small forest nearby - came back like 1 day later all the pigs were dead with like 3 wolves inside the hole Now when i dont have fence i first trap them i a hole then build 2 high dirt wall around it for safekeeping
  5. So Thatch roofing itself is not burnable but like Jagielski pointed out you can just put thatch roofing back into thatch by puting it into a crafting grid menu with a knife above it. You do lose some thatch but thats still something.
  6. I think i had something similiar happen to me before. It was when I had a pie lying on a table and i sliced 2 pieces of it beforehand so it was half of the pie left. Then i think i sliced off the 3rd piece with a knife and the last ramaining one i didnt use a knife but simply picked it up. And that last one when i finally ate it gave no nutrition whatsoever. But i think i had this one long time ago even before 1.19 not 100% sure on that front though.
  7. OK so to start - before going in on 1.20 rc i was playing my last world with a hot climate start. Before that i usually played temperate and even if i walked as far south to get into hot climate i kinda never got to farming those hot loving plants before. So on my last world it was very different experience food-wise - like termites instead of berries at the start and when it came to farming a totally new plant for me - cassava. The mechanics of it are weird and kinda very different than any other as first to be able to do anything with the roots you get after gathering full grown crop you have to soak them in water (in a barrel) and after they are ready already they start drying. In the short period of time when they are soaked and still drying they are treated as a vegetable and you can eat them in that form and get vegetable satiety or use them in meals - as a vegetable. After the drying process they are no longer considered a vegetable and you can grind them in a quern to get flour. But the problem i encountered is when making meals with it while it is still considered vegetable. And from what i gathered online it has been in the game for a while now but i still dont know if its considered a bug with the mechanic still waiting to be perfected/fixed/changed in some future update when they get back to it or not. To test it out i made vegetable stew with only cassava in a bowl and in a crock and meat stew with cassava added as a vegetable side: As you can see (sry for poor quality had to resort of taking pic of my monitor as couldnt take a screenshot at the time) when in a form of vegetable stew, both in a bowl and in a crock you can still see its drying and see the % but in the form of meat stew you cant see that - but in fact the cassavas in there are also drying in the same rate. Im not 100% sure how much time it took - probably between 2-5 days but eventually id all dried off and i was left with: The vegetable stews kinda seized to exist in a way - you could still eat them and get an animation but you wouldnt feel any satiety or get any nutrition of it, and the meat stew was all meat left so you get the satiety and protein nutrition only. Im pretty sure it is not suppose to work like that but just wanted to share and ask at the same time as i know there is no topic for bugs and im not really familiar with https://github.com/anegostudios/VintageStory-Issues/issues which from what ive read is used now to report bugs now. Is it worth making my way to it and posting on there? Any of you lovely vintarians noticed/had similiar issues with cassava? Pls do share Your thoughts. Peace Grummsh

  8. Shitake are awesome to find! And yeah i love how many different types of mushrooms are in the game
  9. Haha that is sooo coool i love both of those!
  10. Well that doesnt sound right at all... See cloths do deteriorate by just having them on with time - the armor pieces on the other hand dont. They only get damaged if you get hit by an attack from some other entity (they dont get damaged when you get fall damaged i dont think) So if Your leather armor is really getting damaged by just walking around in it something is not right - maybe youve got a mod that does that?
  11. Hmmm and i thought about one more thing - what about the shack you build? Maybe you covered the block you were suppose to spawn on with a wall of the shack so when you died and the game couldnt really put you there it reset the spawn point? Just thinking out loud here actually as i have no idea how it actually works coding wise
  12. I got the game after watching a bit of my favorite streamer play but that was it. After it I totally fell in love and bought the game. Id say the learning curve is steep at the beginning but you learn learn alot just doing things and using the built in handbook. If you get into a wall at some point you can always resort to using wiki or youtube guide in that matter (whatever it will be) cause at this point there are plenty of those online. But as for the start Id also suggest going in blind - imo you will have more fun that way (if youre into suvival games) and learn quicker Good luck and let the great Dave give you strenght!
  13. Even if it falls to 0% you can still wear it and repair later when you can or need to. The degraded clothing doesnt provide the tempreture bonus but it will still be there and wont ever break. So if its not cold outside you dont have to repair it at all
  14. Well if youre playing on 1.20 there is a new scrap bomb but that depends how advanced your tools and tech are as it requires iron and pulverizer + blasting powder
  15. Love the wattle and daub change to work with any clay
  16. Ah yes sry my bad Was too late when i wrote that i guess and was mistaken
  17. I find them funny aswell - also low sexy sax is the way to go
  18. Yeah there is a lead system already in 1.20 though as it says in the trailer its still experimental. Havent tried it myself though you can see rope used on the elk aswell as a random pig pulling it around.
  19. Yeah glad you've found info about 1.20. And to what LadyWYT meant was the full full realese of the game like going out of early access which it still is to the full realese version of the game. As the team is small and VERY ambitious that is still like years from now.

    No antlers?

You can always visit a nearby desert and get some skulls?
  21. Grummsh

    No antlers?

I dont know if 1.20 changed anything in that matter but playing 19.8 on vanilla (no mods at all) i killed plenty of goats with horns and only 1 actually dropped the horns - so I would guess its not a guaranteed drop.
  22. Only decorative pieces for now - look nice in basements imo
  23. Well I guess we have peat, barrels, maybe not barley but some other grains could be used i guess. Whiskey it is then!
  24. And i know its just a game but it would be kinda yuck to bake bread or a pie after burning peat to get the tempreture up i believe the smell would be there still
  25. Or if that doesnt work you can pour water first then try chiselling? Cant remember for sure but i think you can do it this way
