  1. Haha that is sooo coool i love both of those!
  2. Well that doesnt sound right at all... See cloths do deteriorate by just having them on with time - the armor pieces on the other hand dont. They only get damaged if you get hit by an attack from some other entity (they dont get damaged when you get fall damaged i dont think) So if Your leather armor is really getting damaged by just walking around in it something is not right - maybe youve got a mod that does that?
  3. Hmmm and i thought about one more thing - what about the shack you build? Maybe you covered the block you were suppose to spawn on with a wall of the shack so when you died and the game couldnt really put you there it reset the spawn point? Just thinking out loud here actually as i have no idea how it actually works coding wise
  4. I got the game after watching a bit of my favorite streamer play but that was it. After it I totally fell in love and bought the game. Id say the learning curve is steep at the beginning but you learn learn alot just doing things and using the built in handbook. If you get into a wall at some point you can always resort to using wiki or youtube guide in that matter (whatever it will be) cause at this point there are plenty of those online. But as for the start Id also suggest going in blind - imo you will have more fun that way (if youre into suvival games) and learn quicker Good luck and let the great Dave give you strenght!
  5. Even if it falls to 0% you can still wear it and repair later when you can or need to. The degraded clothing doesnt provide the tempreture bonus but it will still be there and wont ever break. So if its not cold outside you dont have to repair it at all
  6. Well if youre playing on 1.20 there is a new scrap bomb but that depends how advanced your tools and tech are as it requires iron and pulverizer + blasting powder
  7. Love the wattle and daub change to work with any clay
  8. Ah yes sry my bad Was too late when i wrote that i guess and was mistaken
  9. I find them funny aswell - also low sexy sax is the way to go
  10. Yeah there is a lead system already in 1.20 though as it says in the trailer its still experimental. Havent tried it myself though you can see rope used on the elk aswell as a random pig pulling it around.
  11. Yeah glad you've found info about 1.20. And to what LadyWYT meant was the full full realese of the game like going out of early access which it still is to the full realese version of the game. As the team is small and VERY ambitious that is still like years from now.

    No antlers?

You can always visit a nearby desert and get some skulls?

    No antlers?

I dont know if 1.20 changed anything in that matter but playing 19.8 on vanilla (no mods at all) i killed plenty of goats with horns and only 1 actually dropped the horns - so I would guess its not a guaranteed drop.
  14. Only decorative pieces for now - look nice in basements imo
  15. Well I guess we have peat, barrels, maybe not barley but some other grains could be used i guess. Whiskey it is then!
  16. And i know its just a game but it would be kinda yuck to bake bread or a pie after burning peat to get the tempreture up i believe the smell would be there still
  17. Or if that doesnt work you can pour water first then try chiselling? Cant remember for sure but i think you can do it this way
  18. I believe you can just pour water from the bucket into a chiseled block like normally into an empty space or into a barrel
  19. Ok so if there would be a change to berries somewhere in the future the early game food source/gathering things might come like some stuff from primitive survival for example - worms, crabs, snakes - fish traps, hooks and lines etc. And that is if youre starting in temperate/warm climate where there are actually berries around As my last playthrough I finally started in hot climate and the beginning was so different. Instead of munching on berries at the start and filling my fruit bar mostly (with protein from meat along the way) starting in the hot climate i used to only fill up my protein meter at the start - termites baby! As to the eadible things we could add for the start of the game, those that you can forage early - from pine you could get pine nuts out of pinecones with a knife for example - for some protein. Or if you could get pine needles somehow you could cook them in the pot with some water for some nice "tea" - its well known survival drink. Some other stuff could be walnut tree actually giving nuts you can eat and maybe adding hazelnut trees aswell. We already have thatch, papyrus and reed roots you can cook and east as a vegetable - maybe adding some more roots like that - for example lily roots might be edible. Thats all i can think of atm but there are probably sooo many other stuff possible
  20. I believe taming wolves is on the road map but when it may come - who knows. But alas you cannot tame them for now you can still try catching the wild wolf pups with a reed basket trap - put fresh meat as trap
  21. Damn good to know what to expect then
  22. I second this! Leather armor when you get to making leather is imo the best to just put on and run explore stuff. Like DejFidoff said is has no negative stats like -speed ir - healing and for the stuff you can encounter on the surface (weak drifters, wolves even bears) it helps mitigate dmg to the point its not an issue anymore. That said i havent played any 1.20 prerealeses so maybe the new mobs chage that to a degree.
  23. If you till the soil and dont plant any seeds each day/night there is a chance something will grow on it - 90+ percent (dont remember the exact %) chance it will be grass but there is a small chance it will be horsetail. But i think thats all there is - i dont believe you can get anything else that way. At least for the moment
  24. Great work man! I love the crane, well and the big observatory looking building especially! Keep it up and post more when Youll build it
  25. The skull is simply awesome! Floor tiles are great aswell might steal some ideas
