I don’t think there are any… but I’m not sure. If you kill drifters, you can get gambeson, but as long as you’re fine with mostly just that, I don’t think there’s much else of worth.

I appreciate your Noble 6 level last stand in this argument, but seriously, nobody wants to argue with you: we’ve all stated our case, and you’ve stated And Seriously, you sound like you’d like Better Than Wolves- it’s a mod(pack?) for TOBG. I’d recommend you check it out. Little hard to download, too hard for me, but it has all of the farming features you seem to want and more. If you want what you’re recommending and it takes flak from the two most committed members of the community that I know, I’d take a look at what your idea might look like implemented (in TOBG, at least) just to see what you actually feel about the feature in gameplay. … as a warning, Better Than Wolves might be a little more difficult than this cushy game. Not speaking from experience here, but it’s probably good to warn you.

Generally, if the feature requires players to “just deal with it” or entirely tear down something they spent time and effort making and lose resources, it’s a bad feature unless the game is explicitly designed to be unreasonably punishing. I personally don’t want Vintage Story to be a foddian rage game, so any steps that lean towards this I dislike.

Somehow he hasn’t made opened trapdoors climbable though, which is absolutely puzzling.

I was building with some trapdoors and I realized that they can be placed sideways so that they can swing about the Y axis. Figures Tyron’d do that, the slippery guy.

Early game is painful? To me it’s uninteresting at worst. Maybe it’s because it’s the stage I’ve spent most of my games in, and the state that I leave most of them in- but I enjoy the problem solving alongside the general progression.

That’d make early game painful, and there’s always the 1 in a million chance that ALL of your crops die.

Which is the only reason why the cleaver has a niche in gameplay.

As an aside, if the Hytale expansion (we should call it the HE, it’d be funny) gets made, it’ll be one of the first total conversion mods made in a game designed for total conversion mods based on a total conversion mod, based on a game based on total conversion mods for a different game.

Tyron said himself that if any former Hytale developers wanted to join anego, they’d have them make said Hytale mod. HOWEVER, there has been no mention of working with the Hytale founder on this project; he’s doing his own thing, presumably with actual Hytale infrastructure.

How are you supposed to trap chickens? They wander aimlessly around the traps, but never even approach them. Maybe it's the fact that I'm playing 1.21.

The father or one of his ancestors likely utilized the falx extensively in their mercenary work, which would explain this. But the sword is a pre-existing variety? Jonas likely realizes the anti-armor use of his father’s favorite weapon and brings it into use against the rusted.

Also, Falxes are a real type of sword- they actually look like that, aside from the serrated bit. Considering this, the man (Jonas) is actually named after the sword. How unfortunate.
