Where can I find the dev streams?

I read “alcohole” in the title and thought it was Spanish. Maybe I should calm down a little…

Animals, Enemies, and Situational Awareness
Facethief replied to Roger Laguna's topic in Suggestions
The trick with pigs is to have a panic attack every time you see a piglet. They scare me more than anything else, as pigs have a wider chase range (it seems) than the other aggressive animals. Which makes sense, as herbivores can afford to get injured more than hunters in the real world. -
For some reason, upon seeing this the phrase “radar range” leaps to mind.

As long as it’s nothing disproportionate, I’d say it’s fine, unless you’re using a saguaro cactus for target practice. Then you deserve what’s coming to you.

Seasonal plants and flowers: Phenology in Vintage Story
Facethief replied to Monkeylord's topic in Suggestions
This is probably possible, as I know TFC (a mod for TOBG with a similar premise to this game) did seasonal flowers. Of course, the flowers never actually die back, as that’d make the subsequent spring very laggy, but the actual blooms become invisible during colder seasons. -
Is this to provide utility for an anvil in the corner of a room or something similar? If so, that’d make sense, but for anything else, I don’t think I’d use this.

The shield recipes are awful about this.
-
… it’s an acquired taste, I suppose.

Maybe instead of making advanced tools clockmaker-only, which sucks for single player, allow all players to make the tools, but only a clockmaker or a specialist NPC (Toby Vintage?) can calibrate it, making it fully accurate. Edit: maybe don’t let most players make clockwork timepieces? That seems fair, as most people couldn’t make something with parts that small.

I like this idea, because caribou are far more common than elk. Seriously, how is it that compared to RL, elk and caribou have their ranges swapped? @Tyron, elk live in New Mexico and Southern California, for crying out loud!

What are the developers' stance on creature footstep sounds?
Facethief replied to Marotte's topic in Discussion
@Tyron, your take, please. -
They keep it in a cage or something, presumably.
-
That’s certainly an idea.

The hotbar is obviously just the player holding things under their arms, between their legs, and likely in their underwear too. Maybe even mostly in their underwear, as you still have a hotbar w/o clothes.

Oooh, that actually sounds like a really cool idea. Thanks for rewording that.

What language is this written in to make it so hard to understand? I mean, I think I get it, but why’s there so much to read? Why use the confounding and ambiguous terms?

Definitely reminds me of the Alaskan Cosmic castle tutorials, but I love those designs, so no complaints here.

My issue with the particles is that they get stuck in the leaves, as they are blocked by… well, blocks, and they spawn in the beehive block.

The trick is that you have to find them thousands of blocks from your base, then you can find them 100 blocks from your house.
