I see achievements in other games as a sort of metric of "Oh the player made it this far" which I guess is okay, but it's also kind of crazy when you get an achievement just for making your first flint knife and then look and see that only 75% of the people who own the game have that achievement like... okay... so 25% of the people who have this game just haven't even played it??? Those kinds of metrics are lame. I want to see how many people have managed to do something fun, silly, or down right impossible in the game... something truly worthy of bragging rights. Something I can tell my friends with a stupid grin on my face, "Look at what I did. XD" I do agree with the full set of metal armor one and the bronze one... but only if it's a full set of gold plate armor... Achievements should be "Life of Luxury" -- Craft a full set of gold plate armor. "Who Needs Iron Anyway?" -- Cast an ingot of every type of bronze.

"Impeccable Aim" -- throw a rock; Get hit by said rock "Would I Was Told" -- hit yourself with your own arrow while eating an apple.

In all honesty, this sounds like a very specific issue that should be handled on a server-by-server basis. No need to force everyone in the game to follow this when most people are probably respectful of each other's space, even if they're gone for a long while before eventually returning. Imagine if you were forced to be away for a while and came back to a server you enjoyed playing on, only to find that you joined the game in someone else's house where yours used to be. All your hard work ... gone. Or imagine you went on vacation and were gone for three weeks and someone had gotten his friends to veto your landownership while you were away and they ganged up and killed you in-game until your respawns were all used up and you went back to the world spawn point. What you're suggesting is a powerful weapon that can and will be used against you given the chance.

/es debug setfatlevel <player> <level 0-1> so typing /es debug setfatlevel Heart_Afire 1 would give you 100% fat level...it's actually funny to try it.

might be feasible! I'd have to look into that for sure. A fat malefactor would be an interesting way to play...

Current roadmap: - having fat acts as a store of calories, and so it should provide some defense against starvation. - a high fat level could actually confer some level of resistance to slashing damage (bears and wolves?) - Could make you far less susceptible to any form of knockback - increase the detection range for animals and enemies due to more noisemaking Other Ideas: - it could make you naturally buoyant, so you don't have to expend as much energy to swim -- Would need to work with Vigor mod developer to see if we can work something out between our mods. - when starved, you take a hit to your nutrition levels before your health -- would serve to mimic how starvation wastes the body away instead of directly damaging your health just because you have the rumbles in your tummy. Currently in development! Currently bouncing this idea around with the idea team (me, myself, and I, and the voices in my head) not sure how this would work since the game doesn't have a natural energy system. I might put a bug in the Vigor mod developer's ear and see if there's something we can work out between the two of us. This is an idea we definitely have talked about. I don't recall anyone saying it was a bad thing. I'll put this in the WIP section of this forum so this doesn't get lost in translation..

This right here... Vintage Story is a game created to be played by various people of different backgrounds and ethnic histories. Not everyone respects or has any interest in the intent of the Crown. We all live and behave under different rules and laws. Just because you think that adverse possession is okay, doesn't mean that someone else doesn't regard it as blatant theft. It'd be the same as robbing a museum because "Nobody was using it!" in some minds. Not only wrong for some, but downright illegal for others. So we have to be careful to make the game accessible and relatable to a broader spectrum of people. It needs to be in the hands of the server owners to make judgements on a case-by-case basis. Otherwise you run into alienation and isolation of folks who want to play but don't have as much time as others and get railroaded into giving up something they claimed as their own and in some cases, rightfully paid for.
