  1. Major I feel like the UI/Mechanics similar to clay forming can be adapted for Dough for more expanded recipes. Doing so will allow for additional recipes like individually stuffed pasties, various stuffed breads, stuffed buns, cookies/crackers, pastas, cakes, and alternative appearances for loaves Minor Suggestions Allow us to mix food types in pies (meat with vegetable) I understand that this would be very powerful, so maybe you can reduce nutrition but increase satiety Allow us to add eggs to pies to make Quiche I can make soybean pies but not quiches? that is whack
  2. I would like to add my 2-cents to the argument about "pseudo-european medieval" and point out that there are several crops that are NOT european/old world (pumpkins, amaranth, casava, pineapple, breadfruit, peanuts, peppers, sunflowers, cranberries, and blueberries). Therefore, I believe it is within the realm of possibility that potatoes can have a niche in the game. I would also like to see some sort of bean/legume in the game, like chickpeas or fava beans (in addition to seeing potatoes)
  3. I think mobs are spawning during a pause. This is definitely a bug. Both escape and/or handbook pause. My suggestion dont go AFK in caves or low-light
  4. I had something similar happen to me and I would like OP to help confirm this bug. Where you by chance AFK (In the escape menu) and came back later? because I afk'ed in my quarry mine filled which was empty, only to come back and have it filled to the brim with drifters.
  5. This will be my last post on the topic because the "bear" question in this thread. And, since you are being rude in the response, you are most likely acting retarded. I made the cardinal sin of "suggesting" something that deviates from the current the dogma of the game. Bears and their damage are not an issue, sperg, Once a bear is spotted, 5-6 stone spears and >16 rough-hewn fences and I've negated the most dangerous surface creature. And yeah, forests are supposed to be "dangerous", no shit, because bear and wolf spawns are higher in forests. But that isn't the point so let me spare your brain from overthinking and make my point obvious (pay attention here) "I can hear and track drifters and wolves before I can see them. Why are bears the only exception?" (I made it bold so it stands out more). This is NOT a complaint and this is NOT a call to action. All I've done was make an observation about an inconsistency of hostile creatures in the game. God forbid anyone suggest anything that differs from the current patch, you autist
  6. I am not the OP nor do I have issues with bowtorn, nor am I crazy enough to go out and fight during a temporal storm without extreme preparation. However while exploring in game I came across a highly unusual sight that might lend some credence to OP's claim about bowtorn spawn numbers. Keep in mind that this is a 1.20.9 world on a 1.20.11 client. To provide some backstory, I was exploring south in my hardcore world and was being bothered by a couple of bowtorn. Angry, I decided to charge at them and kill them... until I entered the cave. Once I saw all the bowtorn, I ran before they can pin-cushion me. Keep in mind, the numbers counted is +2 since I was originally chasing 2 other bowtorn, they just went into a separate cave
  7. The damage isn't the issue nor does modifying the damage satisfyingly resolve the issue of ninja-bears This shouldn't be the case. I can hear and track drifters and wolves before I can see them. Why are bears the only exception? Additionally, fighting bears and wolves isn't a problem. If you can spot them you can set up a fence around yourself and cheese them. The problem is SPOTTING bears in heavily wooded areas The issue is consistency with hostile creatures. Every single hostile creature can be heard before they are seen, with the exception of the bear.
  8. This. 100% this is honestly my major gripe with the game currently. Bear/wolf spawns have made forests no-go zones for me. Want to explore? Good luck not getting mauled by bugged wolves or ninja-bears with mild leaf coverage. And whenever I do get mauled, it makes me lose all interest in playing. As a personal antecedent, Ninja-Bears were such an issue (I lived in a relatively flat, plains area). Thankfully it was a plains biome, so I made it a ritual to do a "bear-watch" before I left the safety of my compound. I didn't explore my world UNTIL I made gambeson armor (a whole separate issue about early-game armor). Even then, the only reason why I made gambeson armor was so I can live long enough to make my escape/break aggro. Bears shouldn't be 100% lethal with the only exception being "near a body of deep-enough water". I know this game isn't a 1-to-1 analog of real life but aggressive bear behavior, like in game, is usually a mama bear protecting her cubs. At the very least, I would like to see lesser bears or less aggressive bears (unless it is a mama bear with their cubs), or a way to hear a bear or at the least hear bear-cubs.
  9. Can you please fix the roof ridge edge? Also can you make it so that you roof edges can go back into normal roof blocks?
