I don't like playing just to get frustrated, either. Since I couldn't make only the animals neutral without also making the monsters neutral, I installed a mod that lets me respawn near where I died. It does make temporal gears lose their purpose as a respawn mechanic, but I think that's a fair trade-off because, as long as I've marked my base on the map, I can always walk back. It's a nice quality-of-life mod. If you want a completely vanilla experience without mods, though, there's really nothing that can be done for you.

Awesome, your suggestion for changing the crop growth speed worked! I set the crops to grow as if the season were only 9 days long, even though it's actually 30 days. I'm just not sure whether it also affects crops that were already planted before I changed the setting. I guess I'll have to wait and see.

Hi everyone! I usually play with seasons set to 20 or 30 days, because I enjoy longer years and a slower pace. However, this also makes crops take much longer to grow. I'm looking for a mod that lets me adjust crop growth independently from the season length. For example, if I'm playing with 30-day seasons, I'd like crops to grow at about the same speed they would with the default 12-day seasons. Does a mod like this exist? If so, I'd really appreciate any recommendations. Thanks!

I'm from Mexico, but to better interact with the community I write in English, since that's the most spoken language here. hahaha -

HAHAHAHA, I do the same, before they grow up and get big and strong enough to kill me. -
Working on a city map - any input appreciated

Wow, this looks incredible! Once everything is ready, I'd love to be part of this server. I'll probably end up playing as a beggar, haha, and be the poorest person on the server—the village crazy guy. I'd also be willing to support the project financially if it helps with its development. Keep up the great work, and good luck! -
YOU HAVE TO TELL ME THESE THINGS ARE HAPPENING VS

Aaaaah, I understand. What I didn't know was that Temporal Gears restored my stability, nor that killing the creatures restores it as well. Or at least that's what I understand. Am I correct? -

Okay, so the indicator I should pay more attention to is the gear icon rather than what the Rift Stability meter is telling me. -

This is unrelated to the topic, but when temporal instability increases or decreases, does it happen globally? I was in an area with Low Instability, and after about 10 days or more (I don't remember exactly how many), the first temporal storm had already passed. Now it says the instability has gone from Low to Medium. It's like that in the area where I was, and in almost every region I've explored so far. -

The fuel could be improved by using temporal gears, and Jonas parts could be included as part of its crafting recipe. That way, there would be a good reason to use temporal gears in the first place. -
I can't find either of them, neither limestone nor borax. I've been lucky enough that a trader sold me some.

Has anyone else had items disappear from their inventory? Last night I was grinding fired flint to make refractory clay. I had smelted and processed two stacks of flint, and I definitely ground both of them. After that, I got distracted doing other things, like putting hides into borax. When I finally went back to make the refractory clay, I only had one stack of ground flint left, even though I should have had two. I searched all around the area where I had been working, but I couldn't find the missing stack anywhere. >=(

Is anyone else experiencing this in VS 1.22.3? Since updating to Vintage Story 1.22.3, I've noticed a strange issue with the hotbar selection using the mouse wheel. The problem is not that the wheel is scrolling two slots at once. Instead, the game seems to skip every other slot entirely. For example: If I'm on slot 1, scrolling only cycles through slots 3, 5, 7, and 9. If I'm on slot 2, scrolling only cycles through slots 4, 6, 8, and 0. The skipped slot is never selected, even briefly. It's as if the hotbar is divided into odd and even slots. Has anyone else encountered this issue in version 1.22.3? If so, were you able to find a fix?
