  1. What's truly ludicrous is having to throw away perfectly good brains that are used for nothing while having to dig up something out of rock when the skull being tossed already contains required commodities for tanning hides.
  2. I don't know, I might be slightly broken, but Im building a ski area. Yes, I am aware that there are no skis or snowboarding. But a seraph can dream. And honestly, I go out of my way to venture north to create my base all the time. the tallest mountain for the deadliest winds to power my forge that will be the most powerful forge in all of Armisteros. The snow is the most beautiful thing in the world. It cleanses all that would corrupt. Yes indeed, for a long enough winter and even the rot would be hard pressed to survive through another year. Its blanket of white the most under appreciated custodian and keeper of the world ever known. I love you snow. You frigid seductress.
  3. Im a bit partial to the soundtrack from Road Rash. Anyways, carry on fellow seraphs.
  4. Well, if you don't get an answer, look us up in the forums, #awesomegame and we are Vintage Armisteros. Running the most current version and minimal mods. Lengthened days and months as well as spawn being on the equator. An established village , TerraCaelum, several thousand blocks to the north, nestled into a larch forest and protected by the lands of the north is always welcoming new recruits to further help establish the grip of the north.
  5. Well the Jester has been needed in many a court! No?
  6. I see a marvelous opportunity for several of you recognizable accounts in the forums. You all would make quite the community. And it's always interesting seeing others builds. The ideas that are shared when minds come together can be rather phenomenal. Anyways, just a thought. So many servers. One day at a time.
  7. Cool deal. I like the aspect for mining. it's fun to build my way into a drift or an adit. Now to just develop the network again! Work work work work work. XD
  8. Well, unstable soil has been turned off so dirt huts are a thing for the new and lazy alike.
  9. If he was a household name, there'd likely be less trouble in the here in now in 2025. But if I were the devil, what would I know?
  10. There's always an asshole.
  11. Yes, everything you've said rings true, at least to my knowledge. This is something I feel needs addressed as its occurred multiple times. Yes, mistakes do happen. But this is what I would consider an insult to intelligence. It takes 200 units of any given material to smelt pour and smith an useable plate. Now if you make a mistake and place three ingots, 300 units worth of material, on the anvil and quickly catch it to correct your mistake your still up shits creek with no paddle. You've lost now 200 units of material when using the chisel to break the work item. You must smelt again. Pour again. Smith again. Yes a lot of agains. For a stupid lead ingot on a Rickety Translocator that does nothing. XD
  12. It's aggravating as all hell when three ingots are placed on the anvil to create a plate of any sort. Then to add insult to injury, you can remove the work item from the anvil and retrieve twenty whole bits when you just finished putting sixty of them on the anvil. We can overfill the anvil but not the cook pot? Are you bloody serious?
  13. okay, now what do I do with this Marjoram? I keep finding these things Ive no answers for! You seem to know a few things mayhaps. =D
  14. WELL here goes
  15. So ive been digging and digging and digging.........AND DIGGING. Where in the Sam Hill are you Phyllite? Ive found exactly 24 ashlar blocks of you in the chests of sporadic ruins but not a single block of you in the ground of which I dig and dig.
  16. Funny. When I sacked the University I found Phylitte ashlar blocks. Ive been digging for phylitte ever since.
  17. Lots and lots of this right here. Bingo.
  18. If you tune the pro pick out it's super simple to find the stuff. just check every single bit of quartz you stumble upon. when I get a reading, I meticulously mine the quartz in columns exposing all so I can cherry pick the AU and AG without causing a cave in. Which adds an exhilarating mechanic to the game. XD
  19. Well im glad you've brought this up because ive done exactly that. Time will tell that is certain. What a cool base anyways. The winters are phenomenal. XD
  20. So I decided to set my base at y 222. Ive built greenhouses and love the atmosphere with the bighorns and the perpetual autumn that always breaks into another winter. However, 15 fruit tree cuttings that have been two years now on the first stage deciding if they will be one of the lucky 40% is growing a bit disconcerting. Will they ever take and blossom or will they never become a tree at this axis?
  21. Yep, once its soaked and you've processed it with your handy dandy boot knife, that bear pelt will be headless and your chain will be closer to fruition. XD
  22. well thats no good. I keep getting kicked as soon as I log. hmmmm. will try the usual things. unplug power to router and reset wireless. blah blah blah. XD I will figure it out. always do.
  23. There is definitely a bear or two romping about the mountain. And yes, Grizzly. Wolves havent been a bother.
