Love this, reminds me of retro minecraft when people would use the game and wool blocks as a canvas for pixel art.

It's not time wasted if it was time enjoyed! Terraria was great back in the day, keep meaning to come back to it but feel it's one of those games you need to comit a lot of time too. And currently for me that time comitment is to vintage story

Logs as beams and supports (Suggestions needed)

I'm going to be building a tavern in my survival world and plan to do something similar to the below. Scrapping the full log blocks in the corners and instead going crazy with the support beams. (I've spent 10 years in mincraft using log blocks and bulk support beams and it's time to break the mold! We have these amazing tools in vintage story so let's use them!) Think you would need to find that balance with the detail, not to little so it looks plain but not so much that you cant tell what's going.- 1 reply

Also forgot to mention I was inspired by SRPENEtrante who posted some amazing artwork of the monsters of vintage story a few days ago. -
I've been super inspired by the recent autumn colours coming through here in Scotland and by the hauntingly beautiful tones of vintage story. So I decided to paint this, Titled "The Last Sunset" for obvious reasons... it gouache paint just on a sketch pad, took me a few hours. It has influences of cryptid sightings, things like pale crawlers, wendigo and skin walkers. Wanted to capture that horror of first seeing a shiver crawling through the undergrowth in the dark. And the realisation that if you can see it... it can see you... Hope you enjoy, And be careful out there, especially now the nights are growing darker, and they are awakening again...

I love this, I really want to look away but I can't. You've perfectly captured that uncanny body horror of the foul creatures!!! Also the meat bell is so cool, its even more unnatural seeing something that should be metal made of flesh and vice versa.
