  1. My best guess is that this is affected by rain/weather. I planted 12 saplings in an area with a lot of rain. -> all 12 grew I planted 16 saplings in an area with "rare" rain. -> 3 saplings made it to the tree stage. the 13 other saplings "disappeared". (Popped out and despawned most likely)
  2. I just tried this command. It turns out that is does not "regen" the chunk in a way that it gets restored. It generates new chunks in the same space. I tried this out: 1. Was searching for salt domes with worldedit to learn how they spawn. 2. I removed rock with the "erase selected block" tool and then found the salt domes where they should be. 3. I used the "/we regen [radius]" command to regenerate the chunk in a 3x3 space since I ripped some serious holes in my world. 4. I carved out the rock again to see if the regen worked, but the salt domes were gone. It looks like the chunks got deleted and regenerated with some new random seed/salt. ("salt" in the random generator meaning) So the question is how can i restore the chunks with the exact content they were generated the first time. I also noticed an interesting map issue. The map gets saved to the same space for Singleplay/Multiplayer. In my case I copied the MP map from our servers to my SP to try out the stuff above in a safe copy. I "destroyed" my world in SP. I went back online on our MP server to see the same changes also were displayed there in the map (button M). When I teleported to the destroyed chunks they were of cause fine as they should be and the map updated showing the actual state. I think the savefiles (local and server) should have their own map buffer even if the world is the same.
  3. It would be great to have a tooltip on saplings about their needs. Curently they just die silently without telling you why. Health seems to be displayed on the log blocks, but also no needs. Wasted some week trying to grow pines. Saplings died or popped out of ground the whole time. EDIT: Ok I found the needs for the tree type. I tried to grow it in the right conditions and still the saplings popped out...
  4. Creating the chiseling bench consumes the tools. Is this intended? Or should they be marked in the recipes with "isTool: true"?
  5. How do inside facing chiseled walls Count? In another Spot i read that only 20 are allowed to be missing. If i removed 25 voxels and fill them up with a secondary material, do they count as "Missing" or is the wall whole again?
  6. Hi. Is there any vanilla way to rotate the "texture/grain" of wooden slabs? The block should somehow remain as is, but the texture of the planks should rotate by 90 degrees. Or are there any mods working with the current 1.16.4 enabling this? I aim to create wooden beams by chiseling, but this only works well for one orientation. The other direction looks weird. Since I have a texture of 10cm planks lining up as top/bottom texture on the beam. I found a screenshot in the blicklayer mod, which seems to use this somehow, but cant figure it out. Also exessive searching for combinations of "rotation, slab, texture, grain, tile" seem to yield no useful information, if this feature is present in any mod out there. Thanks in advance.
