  1. I am using mods and I tried disabling the mod that might effect this; More Piles.. but I think More Piles does not stack copper bits, that they were using vanilla stacks? Not sure, because when I disabled the mod, the arrangement was the same scattering. Yeah, I'll make a report in issue tracker.
  2. I placed some copper bits on a block; adjacent wall had a vine. When I removed the vine, the copper bits vanished. Breaking the block does nothing, nor does changing out the block. The bits reappear when I place a vine on that adjacent wall and again disappear when I break the vine off. I can not interact with the bits at all. I cannot place anything on that block now. Is there a way to fix this?
  3. I feel like I may be going a little crazy here but is anyone else having this happen? It happens at a certain distance away from a subject. Let's say, a goat that's about 10 or so blocks away. Its behind me but its bleeting sounds like it is coming from in front of me. I tried with or without headset. With or without the "new" directional audio turned on.

  5. I am looking for a mod that will auto fill in the name on a map marker based off the combinations of what icon and color you choose. Ex. What it already does when choosing orange and the pick icon for Copper.

But it doesn't change my mind about the developers deserving every bit of the asking price... maybe I am cynical because of how much I've gotten told off for charging for my commission work... it's been a lot and it's no less soul crushing each time. I've been asked to do similar; raffles for free art. It feels disrespectful.. like my time has zero value. That being said: I WISH I could do art for free AND support all of my needs. I would. I wouldn't ask for any price if I could get away with it and feed myself.

  9. Or we can honor the work the small development team puts into it and figure out how to legally acquire the game. It does stink though cause I would love everyone to be able to play this wonderful game no matter where they are in their life but the development team really deserves all $24 USD they get (and more TBH). Maybe look around for twitch streamers and see if there are any outside influences hosting such giveaways. It's not fair to the development team to request this though. Good luck!

  14. What cooking vessel do you use to boil the water? I tried cooking in bowls and saucepans and pots but nothing looks like the screenshot. I'm trying to make salt out of water.

  16. Well my friend just introduced me to Vintage Story this week and we started our own little private server. Today I cheered him on as he built the barn to go alongside our house he built the day before. I moved my smithing station from our old mud hut to the new workshop. It's all still basic and foundational; we have yet to discover how to obtain 'the mighty chisel' (please no spoilers).. still, there is a certain charm to the start of this kitchen. I watched my wolf pup, Faol, grow up. The start of our humble farm. It's a mess! Be nice. We're still getting the hang of this world! Those are some lovely pictures, @noname hero. It's made me consider amping up the sepia tones.

  18. Looking at the base of some trees (think it was a pine this time) is still crashing players on the server after updating the hotfix.
