lacrosse137 Posted September 30, 2022 Report Posted September 30, 2022 Just doing a play though online, and a TS came trough, ran to the base to defend and noticed the whole base was ablaze (Wooden walls inside with an outer layer of dirt) There was another player on the server, that said in the new update that drifters are able to set fire to bases now, this statement from a random player seemed suspect, but is that statement true about drifter being able to set fires, or was there sabotage involved. lol. Thanks in advance. :)
Solution Streetwind Posted September 30, 2022 Solution Report Posted September 30, 2022 This is not a thing, no. Drifters do not set anything on fire. Not even if the drifter itself is on fire (you can hit them repeatedly with a torch for that). I'm quite sure that the base was on fire because a pit kiln was too close to something flammable. 2 1
lacrosse137 Posted September 30, 2022 Author Report Posted September 30, 2022 I appreciate the response. We figured that we were set up, but with updates of great content coming out, we both questioned the validity of what we were told. Again thanks!
Ivan Stamenov Posted September 30, 2022 Report Posted September 30, 2022 Lightning strikes can put things on fire as well. Currently any POI in my world with flammable stuff in it has a lightning rod stuck in the sky nearby... 1
Maelstrom Posted September 30, 2022 Report Posted September 30, 2022 And let's not rule out sabotage, even though it is a low likelihood. someone may have had an "Among Us" moment. 1
