Frepo Posted March 9, 2023 Report Posted March 9, 2023 (edited) By "unimplemented" I mean they have no use yet. But do these ores (e.g. uranium and nickel) generate during worldgen? I have never seen them in-game, though I haven't been digging around in the deep depths that much. Edited March 9, 2023 by Frepo
Maelstrom Posted March 9, 2023 Report Posted March 9, 2023 Yes. I have seen chromium and nickel ores generate minable blocks.

Streetwind Posted March 9, 2023 Report Posted March 9, 2023 Uranium does not currently generate, but I've seen some people lobby Tyron to turn it on for 1.18. We'll have to see how that turns out. 3

Irulana Posted March 13, 2023 Report Posted March 13, 2023 Uranium glowing ceramic would be great :D, even glowing ore would be nice addition to caves.
Streetwind Posted March 13, 2023 Report Posted March 13, 2023 (edited) Alas, the common, straight uranium ores like uraninite/pitchblende are not fluorescent. That takes more exotic combinations of elements. Autunite would be pretty, though. Edited March 13, 2023 by Streetwind 1

Of course it's not but this is a game and you need some visualization/lighting boost, like giant glowing worms, we usually don't have lava so close to surface in caves too.
