Michael Gates Posted January 6, 2024 Report Posted January 6, 2024 I have the starter respawn point at (0,0) obviously. Went about 5k blocks south, found a spot, and made a new respawn point in the house I built there. Got the usual "you have a new respawn point" message, all good apparently. About a month later it was time to go back north to get bauxite and limestone from a deposit I had seen z=1500 or so. While I was up there I got killed by wolves... and respawned at (0,0). Did creating my respawn point fail somehow, or does the game keep *all* of the ones you've set and send you to whichever is closest?
Streetwind Posted January 6, 2024 Report Posted January 6, 2024 Did you die once or twice while down south, too? In some game modes, respawn points created by temporal gears have limited uses.
Michael Gates Posted January 6, 2024 Author Report Posted January 6, 2024 Didn't die at all between the time I set my respawn point down south, and headed back north. Farming drifters by my house for that gear was the last thing I did before heading off to dig bauxite!
Streetwind Posted January 6, 2024 Report Posted January 6, 2024 No idea, then, sorry. That's very strange.
Maelstrom Posted January 9, 2024 Report Posted January 9, 2024 Ummmm... HOW did you reset your spawn? (Just making sure the computer is plugged in during troubleshooting).
