Fredrik Blomquist
I wanted to make a tin bronze plate with the helvehammer. I missclicked, and instead got a padlock, added the second ingot before i noticed what i had done. Is there some way to get the material or at least some of it back, or is it wasted, unless i want a padlock in the future?
Solution Vincent Atticus Posted March 10 Solution Report Share Posted March 10 Hello! if you put it in an iron bloom it will turn back into ingots, or it can be broken into bits with a chisel in the crafting grid
Fredrik Blomquist
Thanks, with chisel i got back bits for one ingot. How does the bloom method work? Do you have to work it alone or can you put it there together with ore bits?
SunshineFaith
I was smithing a pickaxe and hit the wrong spot and had to use another ingot. Could I have picked up my work and got all my materials back to start again? I'm not sure if I'm understanding this correctly. Thanks!

Personally I would just throw it away and use commands to give myself back the resources
