Some questions and a possible bug

Hello everyone!
First of all I wanted to apologize for using Google Translate. I hope you understand me more or less well.

I love this game! After my first 150 hours of playing I wanted to ask you some questions (probably a newbie) to see if you can help me.

1. I have read something about the sizes of the worlds and the cold-warm zones, but I am not completely clear. My world has a generally standard configuration and I have set up very close to the initial (warm) spawn zone. How far would I have to go south to find a jungle, bamboo or a desert? I guess for now the fastest way to travel is to just run in that direction.

2. I don't know if it's a mistake or I'm doing something wrong but when I use propick in density mode, for a while now, the results have not been saved to a point on my map. And I didn't have this problem before. I don't know if there is a maximum number of marks for the map, although I have deleted some and no new ones appear. I think it only happens in certain areas of my world... Does anyone know anything about this? Is it a bug? I'm playing 100% vanilla on version 1.19.4.

3. This question may be a bit silly but is there a way to grow mushrooms?

For now I leave these three questions, although others will surely occur to me later.
Thanks in advance.

No worries.  Goggle Translate does a good job.

With a warm start you probably won't have to go too far.  Probably just 5,000 to 10,000 blocks, maybe less.

You may have accidently disabled or hidden your propick results.

Propick results disabled (not the white lettering)

They cannot be cultivated...  yet.  But I recall seeing a mod a while back that provided mushroom cultivation.

You cannot farm mushrooms in the traditional sense, but you can "farm" them.
Mushrooms will regrow near the area they were last harvested in, so if you harvest a lot of mushrooms in a forest, after some time more mushrooms will appear in that general area.

Good catch!

Mushrooms are great early game, but when it comes time to start mass producing a stockpile of food they just aren't plentiful enough.  BUT I do love seeing them appear in the forest as I'm running around, even when being chased by various neighborly critters that want to welcome me to their woodland home with a hearty handshake or hug.

Thanks for the clarification. I hope so, that distance is still affordable. 😃

Yes, I know this way to enable and disable flags, but this is not the problem. I have numerous propick marks on the map (visible), but when it comes to taking a new measurement it does not remain recorded as a new mark... and I don't understand why. It worked before. The sampling information does appear in the chat but it is not saved on the map as a mark. How strange, isn't it? I understand it must be a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Thank you. I knew this mechanic, that if I'm not mistaken it only reappears if they are harvested with a knife instead of by hand.

Indeed, it did not contemplate the cultivation of mushrooms for food, but rather as a way to decorate. I am quite given to collecting things, and I find wildlife (plants, mushrooms or animals) fascinating and very well crafted in this game, so making a botanical garden or a plantation of different types of mushrooms was an idea that appealed to me. I liked it.

That used to be the case in 1.14 or so. When harvested with a knife, it would leave dots on the ground where the mushrooms were. Spores, I'm guessing. But they got rid of that mechanic for some reason.

Flower pots.
