Flexbyte
Hey, just got this game after seeing a youtube movie about it, hooked immediately However, while on land things are fine, there seems to be mouse lag in water, and this mouse lag causes motion sickness. Is there any way to disable this? Thanks!
Thorfinn
Welcome to the forums, @Flexbyte! I don't believe there is anything easy, though there may well be a server command. Might be you could do it with a mod like Accessibility Tweaks or Configure Everything.
StCatharines
100% right there with you. I've already brought this up as a suggestion, but I think it's only a few people having issues currently. I also pinged Tyron on X, but he's a busy guy and it's a very minor feature request. I'd patch it out if I knew how.
Thorfinn
Another option is to not bother with swimming. There's plenty to keep you busy on dry land.
Krougal
Not discounting whatever y'all are going through, but I'm struggling to understand what the issue is. I tend to be prone to motion sickness myself, but I spend a lot of time in the water and it doesn't seem to affect me.

Flexbyte
I tried but it says "no such setting 'swimmingMouseSmoothing'". Where should I type this? I typed it in the 't' menu (for chatting) My version is v1.19.8, on Linux Thanks! Edited October 26 by Flexbyte
Thorfinn
[EDIT] Don't know for sure, but it might be a 1.20 thing. There seems to be no ".help clientconfig" information apart from "<name>", and I don't have any versions of 1.20 on this machine yet to check it. I'm seeing the same thing you are on 1.19.8 Edited October 26 by Thorfinn
