Dear Extraordinary Survivalists 
v1.20.10, a stable release, can now be downloaded through the account manager.

Game updates

  • Tweak: Increased of fruit tree graft survival chance from 50% to 60%
  • Fixed: Wide doors can delete blocks when placed
  • Fixed: Should properly fix bowtorns not harvestable in some cases
  • Fixed: Shiver hurt animation not stopping walk animation
  • Fixed: Potential item loss in multiplayer if a player lost connection while a chest was open
  • Fixed: Incorrect pottery trade items in the trader buying/selling lists
  • Fixed: Unclear error message "missingtokenv2" when trying to connect to a game server
  • Fixed: MacOS Hud and GUIs going invisible
  • Fixed: Monsters spawning on surface anywhere, when temporal stability is disabled

Glass still hasn't been fixed—there's a gray shadow on trees and other objects around it. Is that something hardcoded that can't be fixed?

Ditto. For me it was all rust monsters. My prior survival world I was finished with. I just go back to it on occasion to look how I built stuff. I plan to start my new run next week. Well I noticed over the weekend that there were dozen or two drifters and bowtorns just wandering about on the hills and plains outside my base. And a glimpse or two of shivvers in the grass and brush. WTF? Okay, I had turned off temporal stability for that run, so maybe that was it. I was halfway tempted to do my next run in passive mode just to avoid the hassle of rust maintenance.

This update is very much welcome; definitely a relief for me. I have been having problems with bowtorns and the unwanted spawning of supernatural monsters. So, can I set Stability to false again?

updated to 1.20.10 and had to fight off a shiver that spawned during the day.  Inside my home.  Less than 10 blocks away from me.   

And no, there was no temporal storm in sight.

/edit but I have temporal instability ON.  Seems like random drifter spawnage during daylight hours regardless of rift activity has become an issue.

during the day, if it's not bright enough they can still spawn inside. Check with something like status HUD's light level indicator, or, spawn highlights
