Does armor durability increase when worn or when crafted by tailor/blackguard?

As title states, do the traits of the blackguard and tailor increase a piece of armor’s durability when that class wears it, or when they craft it?  I play commoner on a server with a tailor and blackguard and want to know if I should have them craft my armor for the increased durability.  Thank you!

No.  All items have the same durability regardless of which class crafts it.

there is the small matter where the tailor has the ability to make tailored gambeson that appears to be a nod better than... and can be worn by any of the other class players... so there is that (i'll add that it will take a tailor to repair the tailored gambeson.. )

Plus tailored gambeson is much more stylish, and everyone knows the more stylish it is the better! Well, not really, but you can at least look good while getting mauled by bears!

Unless class specific recipes are turned off.  Then any class can make all class "specific" items.  Best for single player.
