Krystian W Posted May 22, 2025 Report Posted May 22, 2025 Hello. Do you know how to find fruit trees? I read about it and despite going through 14 thousand squares I didn't find any, I didn't notice anything on the map either. I'm worried if the game works properly. Are there any methods to verify if the game is working correctly and creating fruit trees?
Solution Thorfinn Posted May 22, 2025 Solution Report Posted May 22, 2025 Their leaves are a little lighter green for the most part. Get somewhere high and look over the countryside. You might get fooled by a light-colored birch, but mostly they are pretty easy to pick out. 2
Maelstrom Posted May 22, 2025 Report Posted May 22, 2025 Also, run around the countryside. While they're easy to spot, the aren't as prolific as the local forestry. They generate more like wild crops. 2
LadyWYT Posted May 22, 2025 Report Posted May 22, 2025 They're also generally smaller and more...treelike, if that makes sense. By that I mean that they have proper branches(not just leaf cubes) and more slender trunks. They also tend to be somewhat smaller than your standard tree as well, with many only being a trunk and few blocks of branches. I'll also note that it's easier to spot them in the winter or spring, since in the winter they don't have leaves at all and in the spring they flower, meaning those branches will stand out from other surrounding trees a lot more. Summer and fall they can be easier to pick out as well due to fruit-laden branches, however, that only applies after the first year. 2

Thorfinn Posted May 23, 2025 Report Posted May 23, 2025 I don't play with map, so can't say. I doubt they appear on the default map, though.

On the color map, they will pop out with an almost florescent green color. It is a small smudge of shockingly bright green.
