BingoTheLingo Posted January 13 Report Posted January 13 So Im in my world smithing right trying to make a large ammount of iron ingots and steel from the blooms and when im using my helve hammers they are finishing the object right then they just sit therer hitting the finished objeect and it sits there for 10 seconds as a finished pice and like its really slowing down my productoin of a boiler (Im on the current patch of VS) Sorry for bad spelling
Vexxvididu Posted January 13 Report Posted January 13 Obviously, this is likely a problem with a mod. I have not experienced this playing with just a few light mods. You maybe should try disabling some of your mods and trying this out again to see if you can pinpoint what it is.

I agree with @Vexxvididu--this is a good indication that there's a problem with your modlist. Sometimes the project can remain on the helve hammer's anvil for a moment before dropping as a completed project, but if the project is sitting there for several seconds that indicates that your computer is struggling to keep up with whatever the game is demanding. How many mods do you have? Very large modlists often cause problems, as more mods not only increases the demand of system resources, but also introduces more potential for mod conflicts. The first thing to check is make sure that all your mods are up to date for the current game version, or otherwise known to work correctly in the case of older mods. Checking all mods that alter smithing is a good idea too--the comments sections on the mod pages should give you an idea if other users are experiencing similar issues. Outside of that though, I think what's likely going on is there are just too many mods installed. The best option in that case is to just cut down on the number of mods that you're using, but you could also try investing in a server to take some of the workload off your computer while playing(though it's not a guarantee of clearing up the problem). 1
Thorfinn Posted January 13 Report Posted January 13 The boiler only requires plates from a forging perspective. That needs no mods at all.
BingoTheLingo Posted January 15 Author Report Posted January 15 sorry for not responding I forgot to check back but I have around 50 mods and I disabled some of them and the problem persists IDK if its that important but like I have a very fast helve hammer setup but its being bottlenecked by something that im not sure of.
BingoTheLingo Posted January 15 Author Report Posted January 15 @LadyWYTThank you I cut the mod list down to like 30 but its still not working and all of my mods are updated and working with the current patch

If the issue isn't present in vanilla, then it's a mod issue. Mods that are up to date for the current game version usually work correctly, but not always.
BingoTheLingo Posted January 15 Author Report Posted January 15 @LadyWYT Ill try that and see if the problem is still here but a lot of my blocks are moded

Unfortunately if it does turn out to be a mod issue I'm not sure there's much to be done other than disable the mod or try to find a workaround for the issue.
