KitOfNite Posted January 22 Report Posted January 22 Hear me out. I was pondering this for a while, and people don't seem to do this enough in games, but it would be hilarious to have ragdoll physics on death with a option to watch it. End up getting mauled by a bear? You go flying off into the sunset. End up taking fall damage? You're tumbling down. Ergo, hilarity ensues in multiplayer. I like the idea, but I don't know if anyone else has had the same thoughts. 3
EmperorPingu Posted January 22 Report Posted January 22 On death sure. Was worries you were gonna suggest as per regular gameplay. Actually the getting torn up by by wolves and bears sounds kinda lit tbh. Bear and Wolf should heal when they feed on you. 1

marmarmar34 Posted January 22 Report Posted January 22 (edited) I can just imagine all those drifters flinging themselves off of cliffs just to get at you tumbling after they bit the dust. Edited January 22 by marmarmar34

LadyWYT Posted January 22 Report Posted January 22 I like this idea too, but I think it should probably have a toggle in the settings somewhere. It's the kind of thing that could easily get out of hand in multiplayer.
Monsota Posted Friday at 11:09 PM Report Posted Friday at 11:09 PM I agree that this should be toggleable, but given it's ragdolling on death it's not like it would hurt gameplay in any way. It's more about an aesthetic choice, of course: falling into a pit that's some fifty blocks down and dying on impact only to go from fear at the darkness around you to "oh, that's the Peter Griffin death pose" might break someone's immersion—assuming they care for that. Would be a funny April Fools thing, at the very least.
