jetkhan Posted April 30 Report Posted April 30 How do I stack flint? When I press sneak it just goes into knapping mode. I want to stack them onto ground storage likes stones and sticks. 1
williams_482 Posted April 30 Report Posted April 30 I don't believe stacking flint into piles is possible, unfortunately. Based on the behavior of regular rocks, if stacking were possible it would use shift-ctrl-click. 2
Moa Posted April 30 Report Posted April 30 (edited) I keep trying to stack flint too; it's pretty strange that it's not possible, since it otherwise acts just like the other stones. The fact that if I shift-ctrl-click with flint begins knapping is sometimes messing up my muscle memory for when I want to knap other stones, too, so I end up accidentally stacking those instead. Edit: I mean, while stacking flint isn't possible, I would MUCH rather that shift-ctrl-click simply fail to do anything, than have it auto-convert to a different input and do a thing it doesn't normally do. Broccoli Clock Posted May 1 Report Posted May 1 Flint, dry grass, clay... ..none of these can be stacks because their "stack mechanism" is used to trigger crafting. At least with grass, you can create hay bales that can be broken back down into grass, and you can stack the bales, but for either clay or the flint your "best" option would be a crate as it will allow you to store far more than you'd ever stack.
Helst_navngivet Posted May 1 Report Posted May 1 I would love to be able to stack clay, its a pain in early game to carry around a years worth of clay in my inventory because i have no storage vessels. Same thing with flint, why the hell can i stack other stones but flint is not allowed to do that? Is the devteam stonecist?
