I Traveled 20k blocks to the east and i hit an ocean so I had to go back than I went 14k blocks to west but I didn't found any. Tomorrow I'm gonna go to the South but if i don't find any Imma just give up and I can't go to North because there is also an ocean there. Btw I only found 4 meteorites while i was looking for bauxite idk if thats a lot for the ammount of time i spend on it

I would say it's just bad luck. As with many resources in Vintage Story, bauxite can sometimes be at spawn, within a day's walk of spawn, or may require traveling several miles to acquire. If it's looking like the latter, fixing up broken translocators can be a great way to cover a lot of ground quickly.

It can also hide below the top layer of sedimentary rock.  In my last world (1.19 through 1.20) bauxite was near spawn just hiding under a layer of slate.  Didn't find it until I was hunting down some sphalerite for bismuth bronze.   Hit bauxite and stopped digging since no ores spawn in bauxite, but happy I didn't have to go traipsing all over the place to find bauxite.

Good luck with your search - as a new player, I also found nothing after hours of walking, and ended up dropping the game because of it. (It doesn't help knowing that the storyline apparently makes you travel similar distances.) I enjoyed the rest of what I did in the game and don't regret the money I spent on it, but this was a bit much for me.

If you are in a position to be searching for Bauxite to make steel, you should be in a position to construct a boat. Boats are fast and give good visibility of the shoreline, so they are pretty good at searching for a desired top-layer rock type.

I recommend building a boat and going north, see what you find. There's a good chance you'll need to go north for story-related reasons anyway if you haven't already.

In two worlds that I've gotten to steel in, one of them that I've reached the second story location in, I've only found one body of water worth building a boat for, at a distance where it's most practical to access by translocator. It does have bauxite along its shores, but I have numerous easier sources. (Also, I have yet to encounter a story location to the north.)

In my previous playthroughs the first location was southish or southeastish from spawn.   In my current playthrough it was almost directly north of spawn, sooo...   Maybe some changes have happened since 1.20?

In my 1.21 world, the first story location was far to the south. In my 1.22 world, it's to the southeast, and the second and third locations are directly to the east. My assumption has been that they're randomized, probably with limits on how close they can be to each other or to spawn.

Story locations are randomized within certain parameters. The Resonance Archive, for example, spawns on the north-south axis at around 4-6000 blocks from spawn by default. The general locations of chapter 2 spawn on the east-west axis from world spawn, with the third and fourth locations spawning on a rough north-south axis relative to the second location(and if one spawns to the north, the other seems to always spawn to the south).

Aside from that, it's luck-of-the-draw as to which directions you'll need to travel for that world in order to reach the locations. Some of them are fairly obvious, so you could decide to pick a direction and start walking, and find your way to certain places without using a map at all. It's going to be quite the walk though, and you have a 50% chance of going in the wrong direction.

That explains it. In all three worlds where I've got a map to the RA it was due north of spawn, so I assumed it was always in that direction. Going 3/3 on due north spawns is extremely unlikely if direction is random without restriction, but very believable if it's a coin flip between north or south on a fixed axis.

In my experience the RA tends to spawn to the north, but about the time you expect it to be north is when it winds up to the south. 🤣 I'm guessing the controlled randomness is partly to keep things fresh from world to world, as well as to ensure that players can't so easily bypass completing quests, using maps, or otherwise doing things out of order.
