Jubal Posted Thursday at 10:08 PM Report Posted Thursday at 10:08 PM That is, the phenomenon where you're just really really nervous that if you take the elk out for any trip that you don't 110% need it for, you'll end up riding it into a hole and be a) sad you've lost an elk and b) suddenly a LOT poorer? It can get away from most predators etc, it's just those damned barely-visible vertical pits the VS landscape is covered in that really worry me a lot of the time.
Demoncyborg Posted Thursday at 10:53 PM Report Posted Thursday at 10:53 PM make sure you make yourself a bone flute for those moments your elk chucks itself into a hole (and lives!) or wanders somewhere it cant get out but personally not really! i do tend to adventure pretty carefully though..
ifoz Posted Friday at 06:35 AM Report Posted Friday at 06:35 AM (edited) As long as you have a bone flute you're basically fine, provided your elk doesn't take lethal fall damage. Even then, as long as you're in a region where there's horsetail and cattails/papyrus, you can make poultices and heal it! Very very useful, especially when on a server and the game decides that desync means your elk should be launched a thousand blocks in the air. Edited Friday at 06:36 AM by ifoz
