I simply cannot figure out how to make part baked Red Wine Cap mushrooms to further make Veggie Broth Portions using the expanded foods mod. Ive looked about everywhere I can think of and even used the AI on the google search bar. Ive tried putting them in stoves. Ive tried the baking spaces on the stone ovens. Simmered. Cauldrons; the whole nine yards. Nothing. Any suggestions anyone?
LadyWYT Posted June 23 Report Posted June 23 It's been a while since I've played with Expanded Foods, but...have you tried cutting up the mushrooms first? A lot of the added foods tend to require some extra processing in order to make. In addition to potentially needing to dice the mushrooms, I would check for sealing and soaking in a barrel, or needing to bread them before baking them. Of course, the mod is still in development for 1.22, so it's possible that the recipe could be bugged.
OBAMFSpike Posted June 23 Author Report Posted June 23 So I can physically place them in a heated stove OR on the baking surface and they just sit there and never bake. Multiple times ive tried. I figured it would be like the bread dough. Nope. I was wrong. Again. lol

I went onto a single-player world to test this myself and it looks like unchopped red wine caps simply do not cook in the oven properly o.o chopped worked fine for me. must be a bug since there are whole cooked/partcooked versions of them in the creative menu.
