Mesmoros Posted June 28 Report Posted June 28 I am playing VS without the ability to move water source blocks. But I've found that if you harvest glacier ice blocks, from snowy and tall mountain peaks and then place them in a warm place. They melt and stay as a source of water. 5 2
EnbyKaiju Posted July 1 Report Posted July 1 I don't know if this was intended or just a side effect of making ice blocks melt, but I'm kind of in favour of it when you have infinite water source creation turned off. You're still limited by the act of having to go get glacier ice to do it, so it's not "infinite" in the same way as doing it with a bucket, and as long as you aren't going over the top with it it's a great way of fixing awkward water situations like not being able to remove small patches of dirt from lakes without getting awkward directional water. I do still find it pretty funny that they, intentionally or not, still let folks make water sources, but you have to take extra steps to do it. You want that kitchen sink full of water? Well you better go climb the nearest mountain and earn that sink.
