I found a glitch where if 2 items have recipes that over lap like the Bloomery base and Chimney, and you place the ingredients needed for both stacked on top of eachother then you can craft 2 copies of the larger item. For example if you try and craft a bloomery base and chimney and spam click it gives you 2 bloomery bases instead of a chimney and base. Someone else can look deeper into this i don't care to search any further.

Is it actually a copy of the item, or is it a ghost item? There is, or was, a known issue with ghost items sometimes getting created during the crafting process. Ghost items will disappear as soon as you try to place them, or upon relogging to the world.

I will also note that if you're using mods, the issue could easily be caused by one of them as well.

ten to one that duplicate is a ghost item, and will dissapear as soon as you attempt to use it. particularly annoying on servers where the connection is not that great.

Its an actual item i managed to place the bloomaries and use them after they also continued to exist after i restarted the world.

Then you have the luck of an Irish. Cause mine was always ghost items. The lag on the server I play (due to my slow connection) was bad enough I managed to get 2 chiselled air blocks mined out (In fact I still have them on that server after multiple restarts). And the only reason that happened was I was working with chisels on stone blocks to get whole chiselled blocks.
