Maelstrom Posted 23 hours ago Report Posted 23 hours ago Three consecutive firings of the beehive kiln and my refractory bricks are still raw. Kiln shows something like 60+ hours fired. Used firewood and charcoal for the firings and still no bueno and after each firing items still unfired. Does the fuel need to be replenished before it finishes burning? Is there something else I missed? Before you ask; yes, the kiln is constructed correctly and indicated "receiving heat" while firing. Hoping this isn't an alignment to north issue that the cementation furnace once had.
Solution LadyWYT Posted 22 hours ago Solution Report Posted 22 hours ago I know that I had an issue with a planter causing the beehive kiln to fail to fire. But in that cause, looking at the kiln door alerted me to the issue, and I was playing with mods so it could have easily been a mod issue. 47 minutes ago, Maelstrom said: Does the fuel need to be replenished before it finishes burning? It shouldn't need to be. And 60+ hours should be more than enough time for the bricks to fire. Unfortunately I'm not really sure what to do here, aside from check any mods that are in use and report the issue on Github.

You could also copy your world to a test world (along with the world settings) and see if the same issue persists. And/or copy and rotate the build in the test world, with World Edit and see if that fixes it. Also, you yoinked me into this thread with that heading. I was too intrigued to move past.
