Mac Mcleod Posted Tuesday at 08:36 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 08:36 PM When you light a charcoal pit, you get a text message saying it is lit. It would be nice to have it make a "catching on fire" noise in addition. 1
Mushroomancer Posted Tuesday at 09:10 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 09:10 PM You can kind of hear it burning and smouldering, the problem is it isn't very obvious how different that is from the sound of your firewood just burning up and it isn't totally obvious immediately when the lighting happens, so I think I agree that something more intuitive in addition to the text confirmation is ideal. Something that you can reflexively know means it's time to close up the fire and walk away. A sparking sound probably isn't best, maybe a flare up, that kind of 'fwush' of air you get when a fire really catches. 1
Mac Mcleod Posted Tuesday at 11:20 PM Author Report Posted Tuesday at 11:20 PM Yes, a "fwush" is exactly what I was thinking because they already have that sound asset created and use it somewhere else in the game. 1
