Immersion : Charcoal pit sound when lit.

When you light a charcoal pit, you get a text message saying it is lit.

It would be nice to have it make a "catching on fire" noise in addition.

You can kind of hear it burning and smouldering, the problem is it isn't very obvious how different that is from the sound of your firewood just burning up and it isn't totally obvious immediately when the lighting happens, so I think I agree that something more intuitive in addition to the text confirmation is ideal. Something that you can reflexively know means it's time to close up the fire and walk away. 

A sparking sound probably isn't best, maybe a flare up, that kind of 'fwush' of air you get when a fire really catches.

Yes, a "fwush" is exactly what I was thinking because they already have that sound asset created and use it somewhere else in the game.

When you're lighting it the tooltip does change I believe, so that could be an indicator for you it's properly lit

I could be on board with this as long as it continued making the sound so that someone *cough cough* my favorite Blackguard friend *cough* doesn't dig up the whole thing and ruin a perfectly good batch of charcoal once the pile is burning. >_<

Just stick 'em in there next time, they can keep track of it from inside.
