A survival-obtainable loam flower planter can only appear in one very rare surface ruin, and it's hidden underground. Pay special attention to large clusters (typically with church-like ruins), and try excavating under them a bit. If you want specific pointers, then I can get screenshots in a bit, or you can see the structure yourself by importing the schematic for the structure from \surface\religiouslarge\veryrare\chonky5.json into a creative world. While at it: If you're wondering whether flower pots and planters are available in the new colors (because you have question marks in the table for them, as well as for void for some reason), then no - those are only for storage vessels. Serpents can be found in one surface ruin, generally appearing in clusters with a couple other small structures. Golden can be found in one very rare ruin which only appears in large cluster, similar to the one with the loam planter (as well as in one extremely rare ruin, seemingly nearly unspawnable due to a bug - reported in #10085, open at your own risk due to potential spoilers). Entrenched can only be found in another special, extremely rare ruin, seemingly almost unspawnable due to the same bug. Edited September 30 by MKMoose 1

I'll check later how the structure is supposed to look like. I'm not sure how to approach the nearly impossible to find structures, i did search a nearly 15k*15k area around my base (teleporter areas not included) and i never seen the Tyron's Basement/Monastery of Fishing from the screenshot 6 hours ago, MKMoose said: If you're wondering whether flower pots and planters are available in the new colors (because you have question marks in the table for them, as well as for void for some reason), then no - those are only for storage vessels. Haha, ignore that i never cleaned up the table after i created it so is a mess

It spawns 16 blocks under the surface and is covered with normal soil so it blends in with the surrounding terrain. The Monastery of Fishing has similar rules but it spawns 13 blocks below the surface and is covered with normal soil so it blends in with the surrounding terrain. Thankfully those are the only two. 1
Teh Pizza Lady Posted Thursday at 12:06 AM Report Posted Thursday at 12:06 AM I imported both into my single player test world and they are quite large 1

If not, then how is anyone ever to find something like this without clipping thru the ground?

Just make sure that you are actually able to dig. One treasure map he gave me took me to a quartz deposit and I only had a copper pickaxe. 1 hour ago, HalfAxd said: Will Treasure Hunter traders give you treasure maps for things like this? See @availableAvangarda's post above yours to see what they look like in a creative world. Massive! 3 hours ago, Mark Watton said: You better hope the devs don't add bulls to the game. Fauna of the Stone Age mod series actually adds several different types of animals and one of them is a type of cow and yes the bulls will get you! Had a rough start on one world, crafted some spears, saw a bull and went hunting. Turns out the bull had friends. Gored me so hard that world ended up in the Recycle Bin. 1

It spawns 16 blocks under the surface and is covered with normal soil so it blends in with the surrounding terrain. The offset is relative to the origin of the structure as far as I can tell, and usually it's used only to hide the clearly underground parts of it so that it doesn't float. At 42 blocks of height, an offset 16 blocks into the ground will not meaningfully hide the whole structure. 15 hours ago, Teh Pizza Lady said: Both schematics share a pool with other special surface spawns so they can only ever spawn no less than 10,000 blocks from each other. You might want to get acquainted with issue #10085. 1 hour ago, availableAvangarda said: Hope i understood this right, if i found one of the two then i should be able to find the other as well within 10k blocks The other way around - the way it should work (though it's reportedly bugged, as mentioned) is that the minimum distance between structures within the same group is 10k blocks. So if you find one structure, then you'd know that there is no other structure from the same group within a 10k blocks radius. 16 hours ago, availableAvangarda said: I'm not sure how to approach the nearly impossible to find structures, i did search a nearly 15k*15k area around my base (teleporter areas not included) and i never seen the Tyron's Basement/Monastery of Fishing from the screenshot I would recommend that you just get the storage containers from them (primarily the entrenched one, because golden can also be found in another ruin) through creative mode. Or if you don't want to "cheat" for one reason or another, then your best option is probably to just wait and hope that the issue is fixed in the next update. 1 hour ago, HalfAxd said: Will Treasure Hunter traders give you treasure maps for things like this? If not, then how is anyone ever to find something like this without clipping thru the ground? They don't give maps for it. You're not really supposed to deliberately find them as much as you are supposed to stumble upon them occasionally while exploring. Though granted, the treasure maps and ruin exploration could readily be expanded as a mechanic. Also, clipping through the ground wouldn't help, because those are surface ruins.

Thank you I was thrown a bit by it being 16 blocks under ground, but now understand. Looking forward to eventually seeing one. Enjoy!
