Mbrymen Posted January 21, 2021 Report Posted January 21, 2021 In my opinion, it would be nice to add the ability to get maple syrup and use it as an alternative to honey. first you need to make a primitive gutter with a hook from sticks and grass. then a bucket is hung on it and ... we wait. the sap of the tree gradually accumulates in the bucket. this juice is useless on its own, but it can be poured into a pot and boiled to form a candied syrup. 7

Prin Posted March 9, 2021 Report Posted March 9, 2021 I'm bumping this, because I love this idea. Other things to consider would be a method where resin farms might be made, rather than relying on hoping to find the odd pine tree - while I understand why it's that way, it's not very realistic. 1
