Yeah, there's something weird going on. That modlist takes around a second from the time the dots show up on my machine, but I'm on a top-of-the-line i7 with 32 GB RAM, running on a mostly empty high end SSD, but if you are loading almost immediately without EF, and never loading with it, that's just weird.

Does server-main.txt at least complete? The last lines before a single-player join would be something like

it doesn't seem to stop. 

it keeps repeating the last lines about error in the item code

I am using 1.17.11. 

Do you think that's why it's not working? I'll go look for the right version of Culinary!

I went with the 1.0.11version of ACA but Expanded still doesn't work. Sad.

Make sure to delete Cache.

And your new Mod Manager shows just 6 entries, Acorns 0.51, ACA 1.0.11, EF 1.6.5 plus the three game files, 1.17.11? All are selected?

I DOWNLOADED 1.18 FOR VINTAGE STORY!!!!!

IT LOADED! I WAS ABLE TO BE IN A WORLD!!!!

i don't know why but it's working!!!!

Great! Know what's strange? I just tried ACA 1.0.12 RC, which is for 1.18, and it worked fine in 1.17.11. Or at least it loaded fine. I didn't take long enough to cook anything, obviously, but it loaded.

Curiouser and curiouser.

But as long as you have something running, that's good, right? ;)

Wow, WTF did I miss? This is a bizarre issue and I'm not sure why updating to 1.18 would fix it.

I also suspect most of the new ACA update would work in 1.17, there just might be some weird display issues. Or maybe it'll crash! Neat to hear it can load in just fine.

Expanded still doesn't work haha. The game just crashes every time I try to leave it. Sadness.

I redownloaded 1.17.11 to try and see if I can get Expanded to work. I've played the mod before and LOVE it, so I really want this to work. 

Fingers crossed I can get it eventually.

I don't even know, but it's working on 1.17.11 now with Expanded story. I have redownloaded that game idk how many times. This is so funny and so weird but I'm happy it's working!!!

You know the little tool tip that says control + right click (I believe) to empty the bucket while in your hand? That worked for me! Same as when you empty a bucket of a liquid.

I think all candied fruit is currently broken. Is there any chance of this being fixed anytime soon? Candied fruit was one of my favorite additions and I've just got piles of rotting fruit now. 😭

Hrm... Actually, I'm finding other recipes that don't work either, all ones that require multiple item slots in a cauldron. Bone broth doesn't work either, and neither do breaded food items + oil. Is it possible the old bug with multiple item slots in a cauldron is back? Is that not happening to everyone? I might roll back to the previous version for now.

EDIT: I'm still on VS 1.17.11 by the way, with the latest version of Expanded Foods (1.6.5). Culinary Artillery is still on 1.0.11 as well.

I'm running into oddities, too, though I think I've narrowed it down to recipes using some components from Wildcraft, Maddeningly, not all of them, not even most. I'll have to start keeping a record of which are problems.

Additionally, Wildcraft throws a crash on exit from 1.18. But only on exit. If you return to main menu, then start another game, fine. Only when you quit the main menu. I'm not running into crashes during play, and what I remember of Wildcraft works the same, but the fact it does throw an error on exit is a little worrying...

OKAY! After some serious testing of 1.6.5 (in 1.17.11) I have worked out that the recipes in the cauldron are NOT broken. They DO work. BUT. The recipe output text and the green progress arrow ARE broken.

So if you put in the correct ingredients for any recipe in the cauldron that takes more than one slot, it will not tell you what the output is going to be, and the arrow will not fill up with green to show progress. However, you CAN tell that it is working because the temperature increases and the cauldron makes the bubbly noises and everything.

This is still a real problem because there's no way of knowing how long it will take for something to cook or what temperature it actually starts cooking at. But at least it's *possible* to make candy and broth and everything.

It's a very strange bug and I haven't the faintest idea what would be causing it, but if I can provide any more information that might help fix it, I'll be happy to! I haven't noticed anything unusual in the server log.

More reports!

The handbook says you can put peanut butter or syrup on bread, but it only works on fruit bread. I think it might be a mistake in the handbook rather than an actual bug.

Also, I can't seem to find trail mix in the handbook anywhere. Making it still works if I use the recipes shown at the start of this thread, but I can't find them in-game.

(By the way, I make a lot of bug reports, but I hope it's obvious that it's only because I love the mod so much I'm always playing with it! Thanks for all your hard work on this! ❤️ )

Yes, that's a bug I've been trying to pin down. I don't think it's an issue with peanut butter, but with how ACA calculates expanded liquids inside of expanded foods. Oh no!

Sorry for taking so long to respond to this, but candied fruits work fine for me. Are you sure the syrup you're using is the same as the fruit? Is this still related to the cauldron not outputting the text properly?

I was able to fix the broth issues, as well as the part-baked breaded food crashing in the handbook. Fixed some other stuff in the handbook too. I think I've caught up with all the Expanded Foods-related bugs posted so far.
