Roof pieces don't seem to have the filler corner available anymore that filled in the hole when the slope is against square blocks, will that be implemented again soon?

Do you want bug reports here?  It doesn't look lit your Git repo is set up for them.

Updating from ver. 1.6.9 to 1.6.12 broke all of the Neolithic chests.  All of them turned into the unknown "?" block.  Vanilla reed baskets were fine.

VS 1.9.6 (updated from 1.9.3)

OS: Linux with Mono 5.20.1.19

Other mods:

   1.9.6-WaypointUtils-1.0.17

   Graveyard-1.1.3

Sorry for the bugs.
The Trough is fixed in the new update.
Sorry for the chests.
I had to completely rewrite the chests, that changed the Block ID for them.
For now the only solution for updating an old world is to transfer all your items to the Vanilla Reed baskets, before updating the world.
You will need to replace all the old Chests.

Ok, went ahead and did the update with the item juggle.  On version 1.7.2 with CarryCapacity-0.4.0-rc.2 installed.  From your repo notes it seems we need to install Carry Capacity separately now?

I have a new  issue, breaking chests destroys the chest and returns nothing (MP server environment, not tested in SP).  Contained items do drop though.  Is this intended?  There isn't anything in the server logs about it.

  • MP Server / Windows clients
  • VS 1.9.6
  • Neolithic 1.7.2
  • CarryCapacity 0.4.0-rc.2
  • Graveyard 1.1.3
  • WaypointUtils 1.0.17

Sorry about that. There should be a warning about the chests. We had to change the way chest worked to keep compatibility with the Game code. Also to be able to add Labeled Chests.
Please try to revert to the previous version of the Neolithic Mod and move all your items to stationary baskets.

is it possible to make a lite version of this mod, which adds most of the content, doesn't break existing worlds, compatible with other mods, vanilla balanced, and removes the hardcore survival elements (frankly the game is grindy and complicated enough as it is). It would be nice to have access to things like palm trees, new tools, casting moulds, more uses for bamboo, new blocks, etc... without having to go through ten more steps than in vanilla, and having to manage ten times as many items. besides, many of the features are a quite janky (having 6 different log types, in 5 sizes, stripped, or unstripped, and in three different orientations, all taking up valuable inventory space if you are not careful, and that is just unworked wood. not to mention all of the scrap wood that can't be gotten rid of easily, just as a prime example)
