Flutterc4t
So basicly i was thinking a more ways to improve the quality of soil, and then i remembered this old washion fertilization project called Slash-and-burn which long story shorter is, you burn down a forest to increase the fertility of soil. This could work in game like if you burn down a tree in a few block area around it has a chance that soil will improve for example like. From poor to medium could be like 50% change and from medium to high could be like 25 or even 10% change. or it could make a new kind of soil that is like a medium soil but looses fertility slower. Maelstrom
I believe slash and burn provides a temporary benefit to fertility. Much of the Brazilian rain forest was slash and burned which provided just 2 years of fertile farming before the ground was devoid of nutrients from the burned forest. l33tmaan
And then you don't have a forest anymore! Bonus!
Yeetiee
Slash and burn doesn't improve fertility of the soil. It is used to quickly remove forests. And it is only good at that. Brazilians farmed using nutrients which were already in the soil. Burning didn't improved it.
Flutterc4t
Ash that is produced from burning forest is full of nutrients but is gonna boost fertility for only like few years https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slash-and-burn
setne550
That method is a temporary benefiting and honestly it never helps in a long run.
