Hello. I want to play this game in multiplayer but found that it's a bit hard to do so because you just get stuck in a starving cycle and ever get anywhere. There's no food anywhere and you just end up starving for eternity and if you leave the server to go on tomorrow, your cattail roots are now ROTTEN etc. It just really puts me off from playing online. Like, you just can't. So I'm asking to see if there are any servers that either have bed spawn (like Minecraft) or gives free temporal gears used to set spawn and with the spawn set to infinite. This way I can move away from spawn much easier and evntually set up base somewhere there is food o r whatever. I really want to play this game online but can't because the starve thing just completely ruins it. It's just frustration and no fun.

This update took away a lot of the lag I had. Especially lessened the freezes and mini stutters to a significant degree. Phew. That was annoying. Well done. So it wasn't the BIOS update after all. Good to know because I don't want to fuck with the BIOS.

Good post. I personally do not like it at all. At first I thought it was my pc lagging which can't be it since it's more than powerful enough. It made think of my previous pc which would have frame drops in the forest that had the slow mouse thing going on. It really feels like mouse/fps lag. I hope they add a way to disable or detune it!

Hmmm, a blueprint kind of system? Minecraft used to have mods for that. This is a good idea. I hope they add it officially someday. It's quite the pain to build from scratch purely in survival... So you have to do it in a CREATIVE FLAT and then take 20 pictures and go back into survival to rebuild it there... Btw, I don't speak German, I just used my Dutch to kind of figure out what you're saying before you start throwing complicated words/sentences at me lol

Hell no. Procedural anything is always bad. In a game like this procedural landscape is one thing but from thereon out everything needs to be handcrafted with love and care to keep this game feeling wonderful. I really hate procedural things. No Man's Sky is a very good example of the 'procedural void'. Trillion billion quintilion systems, yet everything feels the same after you explored three systems. The procedural void. Blergh.

That's such a dumb name. They should've just added him and never say anything about it. That would've been 1000 times cooler. That is NOT Dvze -
I started a new game but pit the month cycle to 30, thinking I'd have more than enough time to gther lots f grain to prepare for winter. But grain ALSO grows slower. Ok. New game. 12 days cycle. /gm 2 and fly around to find a ,ice spot and build the mud hut I had earlier to continue where I left off. It's all extremely mountanous or just hilly/hole-y, or watery. I just need a square thing of 1000 blocks to build comfortably... I can't find it lol. I'm 20k blocks away from spawn now. Well, I did find it and I started building and then I saw the area is UNSTABLE! God... /end rant

Oof, I remember making my own shitty maps to play in single player, swapping models of weapons and characters (adding or deleting bones to fit the weapons) with special convertor tools and writing small editor codes. I remember having to conert one file to another extract something convert convert convert and then edir and do the whole process again backwards. Had great fun.

This is why I always go for slow and deep sounds so they're less annoying... I think there's a mod that let's you remove sounds tho (like the drifter groaning, whch is also quite annoying sopmetimes.

I'm fully against. This will make the game cumbersome. Go sweat in a desert if you like it so much.

If you have, say, a two block high structure before you and you jump and hold down jump, your character could grab the ledge and climb onto it. This would make traversing hilly terrain much more enjoyable IMHO. Maybe we can even do three high blocks with special equipment.

I'm replacing all my oil lamps with brass torch holders but I'm curious what the rules are in this game? At what light level do they spawn? How to keep them out completely? I'm running the game on pasive so it's no big deal but I find it annoying to have them inside to the point I already downloaded a mod that let's you disable ceratin sound dpecifically like their moaning. But still, I don't like them being inside, pushing me aside and being a nuisance in my peripherals. Any tips?

When I'm mining it seems this would be a very nice feature! It's just kinda anoying to me that I have to bulldoze two block high openings to get that single height ore. IRL, new coal for example was often mined by crawling into a 60cm high shaft for 10-20 meters to see if it was actual worthy to dig it out or just continue looking. So why not add it in game?

I suggest you create a ne world and put it into creative. Give yourself a pros pick and keep going until you find some - BUT make sure to put it into DENSITY mode first by pressing F. Once you hit decent (ignore the %), press F again and put it into proximity mode. Now dig straight down and every 10 blocks deeper you go, check for ore. find something? Mine 10 blocks INTO that direction and try another with your pros pick. Nothing? Go back and keep going down. Did it go from small amounts to medium? Go another 10 blocks in. did it go to small again? Go back to where it says it was medium and dig up, down or side ways. Pros pick again. etc. I always hit something like this.

i'M AGAINST IT BEING ADDED TI STEAM. i'M STRONGLY FOR THIS GAME TO STAY INDEPENDANT AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE IN FEARS OF IT BEING BOUGHT OUT AND RUINED - WHICH IS ALWAYS THE CASE.
